How Consistent Are You Guys With Your Minoxidil Applications?

I wonder if the reason people say minoxidil doesn't work long term is a combination of the progression of hair loss and lack of compliance. I have used this stuff every day, twice a day for 16 months. That's about 970 applications without a missed dose. My hair has improved tremendously with maintenance. Please list below your consistency of minoxidil application. Thanks fellas.

Everyday 2x day for 9 months. Very good improvement.
Switched to 1x day, for 4 months. Saw thinning..

Just switched back to 2x a couple of days ago.

Never missed a single application.

See! I bet most people that complain about it aren't extremely compliant

Bro don't you make this same thread every few months?

We know some people don't seem to respond to it. It is what it is

Twice a day everyday for 2.5 years (except 3 months off to see if was actually doing anything) in combination with finasteride 1mg daily (now 2mg). Still losing hair. Pretty sure the minoxidil is doing literally nothing though.

Quit minoxidil for 3 months around 6 months ago, but went back on it because I am afraid that it could be slowing loss a little. Didn't notice any shed or anything when I went off it though.

No I don't. This thread isn't even about responders, it's about consistency

If you had hair like Pavi, would you take five times the dosage?

I might!
Five, yes. But our friend Pavi uses 10-15 caps per day (or maybe per application?). It would be too expensive for me.

Look at his hair.

Of course, it probably won't last without finasteride or something.

But still.

If a high dosage would give me hair like that, I would take it twelve times a day. Probably
more.

Try then. I think Pavi did not find out before he decided to test this option.

Once a day for A little over 2 years. I did twice daily applications for the first 6 months and honestly didn't notice any progress so I opted for once a day. No progress from minoxidil imo but I'm not dumb enough to quit something that literally takes 2 min to apply every night.

That's the way I feel about people who don't use it because of that.

You have to be pretty f*****g lazy if you can't put liquid on your scalp. Doesn't even take a minute.

I get that some people don't like it. It's the same as brushing your teeth (actually, even less time).

I had braces from 19-23 so I value my teeth, but I'm also super lazy to brush them. minoxidil forces me to brush my teeth every night cause I'm gonna have to apply the foam anyways. 2 birds stoned at once:)

BUT I can't be bother d with the morning application. I mean, were trying to make our hair look good for the day with these treatments and even the foam ruins my hairs aesthetics. If it was producing visible results maybe I would've stuck with it but not worth it in my case
