How Common Is Norwood 7 At 20 Years Old

I have a friend that started loosing his hair at age 17 and now at age 20 is Norwood 7 pattern and shaves his head. He still has thin hair on the top but you can clearly see the ring at the back and hairline pretty much completely gone. How common is this at 20 as it is the type of hair loss usually seen on men 40+.

I think it's damn rare at 20 but I know it does happen to a handful of poor unfortunate men.

I would like to know how common 7 is at any age. It seems like most men end up between 3 and 5.

Yes, he has pretty much the exact same pattern as this guy. I think hes dealing with it okay now but there was a point that it was definitely affecting his mental health massively, people at our age just cannot comprehend the mental strain that comes with hair loss, the slightest joke can be self esteem crushing at 20.
