How Come Some People Loose More Hair On Finasteride?

Hi guys,

I am not going to lie, I was actually wondering if I should hop on finasteride or not, but I’ve heard a lot of scary stories lately.

People are saying that finasterise has actually made them loose more hair than before, and this hair never came back.

Any opinions on this?

I definitely think that can happen, but you are more likely to experience a positive effect. Sure, finasteride is not optimal and I'm pretty sure the success-rate is way lower when it comes to young hair loss sufferers. But one thing is sure, you're going to keep loosing hair unless you treat it.

There is just no way to say. Our understanding of what all these hormones actually end up causing in different people just isnt something anyone knows. Your guess is as good as anyone elses
