well, that appears to be under considerable debate, but the difference mostly has to do with your hairline. With traditional male pattern baldness, your hairline and temples will start to recede toward the back of your head, while the remaining hair remains relatively thick. with diffuse thinning, like the kind i have, your hairline doesn't move at all but your hair starts to thin all over the top equally. there are probably people suffering from some combination of the two, but some of us have one or the other.

Eh your hairline doesn't appear to have moved much at all.

Norwood 1.5 i'd say but you could be diffuse. Your loss looks a lot like mine.

Try wetting your hair and combing it all the way back and then take pics so we can get a better look.

what is Norwood 1.5

where is the scale/chart on this site?

What are the odds that Propecia @ 1mg a day will work? why not 1.5? why not 2?

How long b/f i see some of the shedding reduced?

It may be that Im much more aware of it, but it seems as though my shedding has taken it up a notch since i began taking the drug?

propecia 1 mg per study maintained hair counts in 83% of men over a 2 yr period and regrew hair in 66%, I believe.

1.5 mg and 2 mg aren't that much more effective than 1 mg. Only a tiny bit more effective.

Shedding may take a few months to reduce. If you shed while taking the drug you shouldn't be scared. The drug may be pushing some of your hairs into a resting phase but they will come back.

Thanks!

Jay - what is your regiment using the nizoral and nano?

How often do u use it?

Do you use it in specific spots or all over?

How much/amount do use use when you use it?

And, what results would you chalk up to the shampoo so far?

Thanks!
