How bad can it possibly get at 18?

My hair has thinned out greatly and receded in the past year. I've been using minoxidil on hairline for the past 8 months, and even though it seems like I'm growing new hair, my hairline looks thinner then before. Ive also been on finasteride for the past 7 months and my hair is still thinning and still shedding. What the fk is this? How is this even possible at 18. Shouldn't these treatments work when you catch it early? I'm not even maintaining, this is fking ridiculous, fk hairloss!

Treatments take time, so be patient. First the medication has to work to correct the problem, then in most cases, the hair needs to be shed and start to regrow. Initiation of this alone can take months, 3-4 or longer. After the new hairs begin to grow, remember it starts off fine and thin and grows at a rate of .5" per month. So, hang in there.

If you can afford it, I would recommend Hairsystem. I lost my hair at 19 completely and now I have a full head of hair with hairsystem. Yes its expensive but its real hair and it doesnt fall off..
