There seems to be some people that are very knowledgeable about hormones on here. I have an issue, and wasn't sure which of my doctors to go to. I'm not sure what's happening and thought maybe I could get some idea on what to do next.
A bit ago I realized that my semen volume decreased quite a bit, seemingly out of the blue. I don't know what caused it, but I do know for sure I'm STD free.
I've also been urinating frequently so I'm not sure what that means. Maybe I'm prediabetic? I am in pretty good shape though at I'm 5'6" 128lbs, and don't really eat junk food. Maybe I have low testosterone?
Other stuff I have going on (related?):
As for my hair loss, my temples receded but haven't changed much in the last year. I have experienced a huge amount of shedding in the past several months all over my head. I just got a new dermatologist and after assessing me says that I have several issues going on. She says I have seborrheic dermatitis as well as telogen effluvium, and will be doing biopsy to test further.
It's so strange cause I noticed new hair growth after addressing a vitamin d deficiency and improving my diet (was eating too strictly before). So I have some hair growing while there is all this shedding.
The real question is do I run the low semen volume by my primary (doesn't care about hair loss at all), or my dermatologist? I'd feel weird bringing up a sexual issue when I'm there for scalpnissues. Like I'm a hypochondriac or something
