I'm a 25 years old male of Pakistani ethnicity and have been thinning in the crown area since I was 19(my barber first mentioned it but I never done anything about it for another 3 years). Have a solid history of male hair loss on both sides of the family.
I've been using minoxidil 5% once daily on my my whole scalp, focusing mainly on my crown, for nearly 3 years now. There was a point I was using it twice daily but I found my eyes looked constantly knackered, so I cut back down to once daily. I've never gone more than a few days without applying it so I have no idea if it's even halted/slowed down my hair loss whatsoever. Also been taking biotin and multivits.
I'm aware of temporary options like using finasteride( scared of s/e) but im after a permanent fix and have been considering a hair transplant but not sure how many grafts etc I need, or whether there's any better options out there?
I've attached a picture of my hair loss. There's no noticeable hair loss other than what's in the picture and hairline is still going strong .
