After using it in the morning I didn't feel bad, but I used it last night after (1) using a comb to scratch my scalp, and (2) taking a shower, and my eyes have felt like utter sh!t since I did it last night. Woke up this morning with puffy-feeling, dry as hell raccoon eyes, and even noticed a wrinkle beside my left eye. Literally my FIRST day using the stuff. Should I quit for a few days then try it again or what?

Not to be rude but you sound like you're probably not in the right state of mind to be doing anything like that.

I think he's implying that your paranoid or something. Not gonna lie man that'd trip me right the **** out. I'm personally holding off on the minoxidil. In my opinion its take Propecia or go home (and wait for a miracle cure to arrive in the coming years). I'm not on Propecia btw still debating.

Mind you, from what I've read about minoxidil it starts with a shed while the old hairs fade and the new ones come in. I think I've read something about increased wrinkles but I'd do some research on that before you make your decision.

You showered right after use? Suppose to wait 4 hours if you want to shower it off. Its no a common side effect, none are, are you sure you didn't wash it into your eyes?

That stuff messes with you. I've been on it for 13 years and it does cause wrinkles and eye bags. I've let up off it some so its once a day now, but the eye bags still come and go with a large dose. If there ever is a cure, I sure will be glad to never touch minoxidil again.

Well, that's it. I'm completely stopping minoxidil. At least until these horrible sides clear up, then I may try again. The below pic was AFTER putting ice packs directly on my eyes and cheeks. My eyes were actually MUCH more red upon waking up. It also looks even worse in person.

I think me spilling the stuff last night was a sign for me to stop... I slept from 2-1:30 (woke up a few times to piss), and I'm sitting here with those eyes, a slight headache, and a stuffy nose. I did NOT have ANY of this before minoxidil.

I don't think that's normal at all. I've been using a double dose of minoxidil (liquid) for 2 months now and haven't gotten anything like that.

Are you using foam or liquid? Those seem to be the eyebags that people talk about when using minoxidil.

Yeah I'm using the Kirkland Minoxidil 5% liquid. Only used it for two days/four applications! I ordered some Equaline Minoxidil 5% foam from Ebay (without the propylene glycol), but am sure as hell NOT going to use it until these eye bags and this irritation has cleared up.
