It looks like its thickened abit.

But Im abit confused, you are 39/40 and you are still fretting about your hair!! You have a wife and a kid. Just look after yourself, dont expose yourself to all these dodgy chemicals. Why would you waste your time in this phase of your life?

Why does age matter? Some people like having hair, so what's wrong with trying to keep it or getting some of it back?

Hmmm... I both agree and disagree.

There is a perception amongst the young'ns that they will be happy to keep their hair till they are 30... myself being 31 I'd have to say that its not as important as when ure 20 (and Ive had 10 years to get used to the fact that my hair will be gone one day), but I still want to keep it.

On the other hand I think Itsonlyinmyhead is completely right.

re:

Over the two years, it looks like things thickened up a bit. At the very least, it seems very clear that you have not lost ground in over two years, which you should consider a success. Considering that male pattern baldness was clearly present prior to treatment, you should be happy that you have halted (or perhaps drastically slowed down) the process. IMO.

I'd say it has thickened up in the front and middle too. Congratulations!

I'm 45 and believe me, no man wants to lose his hair, no matter what his age is. I'm not quite dead yet

I got my drivers license updated before starting my regimen and I wondered how they got my Dad's picture on it :freaked2:

That 8.06 pic is pretty much how I have looked for four years prior to adding foam and nizoral to my '3. I had finasteride going for five years so did not lose a ton of ground but did not really grow back much. After seeing those pics, I have to say I'm shocked at how much grew back for a guy my age (40).

And to the guys saying why bother, I'll be honest, I am a lot more vain about my hair than I thought I'd be at this age. When I was 30 I was like bleh, when I'm 40 I'll shave it all off. I still resist that. Look at older 50-65 old family members, I'm very happy with how much hair I have now.

In summary, my hairline has thickened up, as has my middle. The crown is the thinnest, but is about 50% better than baseline.
