That's common.

The hairline that I have recovered from baldness has progressed in a format like this:

First there were thin, pale vellous hairs.

Then, the hairs got stiff and starting standing up straight a bit, but were still pale

Then, they started gaining some pigmentation.

Then, they started growing just a tad longer than the other loser follicles in the surrounding area still in vellous stage.

Then, they really started to grow, and they grew curly, like pubes.

Then, they slowly started to thicken, got a bit more coarse.

Finally, they started to straighten out a bit, and rejoined their long lost brothers after being dormant and/or complacent and once again started doing their God-given role of contributing to the overall scalp coverage of The Gardener's scalp.

And on that day, The Gardener looked into the mirror and said out loud, "Habemus Hairline!"

Gardner, I'd say that is pretty much what I've seen with the treatment that I'm on. This June will mark three years and it looks like I've picked a winner for me:)

greg do you find that your treatment produces acceptable cosmetic results?? dont you want to thicken up your vellusy hairs that are on top of your head/at your hairline?

Youre only treatment is the LC right?

fallout boy, from what I've read from here and other discussion forums, my treatment is producing what other types of treatment can offer. In my latest pics (which I plan on updating before my three year mark this June) you can see the vellus hairs in my crown area that have responded to treatment, are healthier and thicker. Also, the hairs at my hairline are having a similar look. Of course if I had started treatment before I lost allot of my hair, I feel that I'd have more to keep and to work with:)
