Apparently high estradiol results in low testosterone (which is actually bad to have), and high DHT. Also high estradiol results in high cortisol, sex and thyroid binding globulin (CBG, SHBG and TBG). These will bind these hormones rendering them inactive and cause difficiencies. Many knowledgeable antiaging docs now believe estradiol to be the main culprit in prostate disease and hair-loss.

I have started an estradiol lowering regime. This should naturally increase my testosterone levels and reduce my SHBG and DHT levels. I may also supplement with some test boosters(ie. Terribulus) and saw palmetto.

Has anyone here regrew hair with a similar approach of correcting high estradiol levels?

Well, i have been taking DIM for a couple of weeks. Noticed im a bit more relaxed and getting occasional morning wood, which i havent had in years :woot:

I work out a bit so am taking protein and creatine, plus zinc, magnesium, vit.c, b5, b6, multi B's, e etc.

I have however ordered some supplements recommended on various websites ie. - http://www.geocities.com/bill3320/hormones.html

Have ordered saw palmetto, nettle root, armidex, flax seed, tribulus, maca, avena sativa, arginine and a few more. Not going to start using them all, but will try some of them over the next few months.

Well, i have to post my special experience ragarding estradiol.

I was taking finasteride for 4 1/2 months with nice results. Unfortunately i had to stop due to side effects. While i was on finasteride, my estradiol lvl exploded. I mean it. I was far above the maximum range.

However, as i stopped propecia, my estrogen came back to normal. The problem is that my thyroid seems to suffer from the hormonal imbalance i experienced over this time.

Dont use Dim, use aromasin or AIFM.

But seriously, Elevated Aromatase / estradiol spells disaster for men in general.
