So I've never had my DHT levels tested but I assume they are elevated. Mostly due to my male pattern baldness, but also for the fact that I get MAJOR sebum on my scalp which is associated with high DHT.
I have virtually no body hair - there are a few stray hairs on my chest and that's it.
I can't grow a proper beard. The hair on my cheeks is patchy, and significantly more sparse on the right side of my face than the left. Apart from an area under my chin virtually NO hair grows below my jawline at all so either side of this under-neck/chin area is just large bald patches. On the right side this bald patch extends up and leaves a kind of circular bare patch next to my chin that eats into my goatee/connector area (moustache/chin is the only decent hair growth, but even the moustache grows more on one side than the other).
Is this normal? Are the problems with my facial hair just my bad genes or is there potentially something hormonal going on?
