Hey Everyone,

I recently had a blood test one privately from medichecks to potentailly help me understand why my hair loss is so bad for my age (22).

It seems I have high creatine kinase levels?

Results:

"Your latest result is 306 which is outside (High) of the normal range. (16 May 2018)

CK (creatine kinase) is a muscle enzyme which signifies muscle cell damage and death. CK levels tend to be higher in people with greater muscle mass.

The level of CK in the blood is measured to assess muscle damage - it can rise rapidly after muscle trauma, but will subside as the damage repairs. If CK continues to rise it indicates that muscle damage is not being repaired. If you have been to the gym the day before your blood test you may well exhibit raised levels of CK."

I recently started working out (lifting weights + cardio) and take whey protein concentrate (not isolate). I'm in no way a big guy at all, with clothes on i still skinny as hell. Since I have started working out though 3-4 times a week since January, I've noticed accelerated hair loss.

Is this all in my head or is their potentially a relation?
