Okay. So your hairline is receeding. So is mine.
Now. If your hair isn't thin, then cut it short and spike it up.
Trust me, if it's thick enough inside that V then it'll look so much better spiked up.
I had my hair up like that for a while, even with a Norwood.2.5 and it looked good. But i've thinned too much since then to keep it like that.
Also, that airport joke is a bit much. Pretty insensitive brother you have there. Although the paper dart is funny, it's not nice.
Question: have you dyed your hair more then 4-5 times in your life?

Also if you do cut it, about 4 inches all over would be nice.
