Hello. I'm 25 years old and I've noticed my hairloss after I finished my first round of accutane (which was like about 4 years ago). I just finished my 2nd round 2 months ago and I think it made it worse. Anyway, my hair loss is starting to depress me and I don't really know what to do. I tried the Nioxin shampoo last year and I don't know if it helped. As of now, I'm using Thicker Fuller Hair shampoo about twice a week and 2% Nizoral once a week. Here are some of my pictures and please give me some suggestions on what I should do.

You can click the pictures below to make it bigger (some of the pictures are blurry).

Hello, my friend.

Your hair doesn't look bad. I wouldn't bother to notice your hair if I saw you walking past me in the street.

Anyway,
your best "proven" options are here:

Propecia.
Rogaine.
Nizoral.

The Big 3.
They are proven, and are likely to help close up/thicken your existing bald spot.

Look into propecia and minoxidil as they are both proven t work in the vertex area[/b]

Thanks guys. I'll give minoxidil a try. As for propecia, I'm kinda scared to try it since I've read stories about how it can cause acne, which is the reason why I took accutane in the first place (which I think caused my hair loss).

These are esteem/morale boosting words for most people with similar situations w/ regards to the general public's view, but we must keep in mind that it is not the current state looking acceptable (if it is in fact cosmetically acceptable) that causes the most anxiety/worry, but rather the direction the male pattern baldness is headed over the next few years, and the possibility of quickly degenerating into a NW5 , that worries people.

I'm not worried about a NW5 but i'm getting plugs come July because i don't like having a NW2 or whatever i have.

heymikey, there are plenty of other things besides minoxidil to get your hair growing and if u ask me it makes alot of sense to take action against the DHT.

that being said i'm on minoxidil and plan to keep it a part of my regime even when i have a full head of hair.
