Hows it goin
I'm supprised I recognize so many names here, its been quite some time since I've logged in.
So I may as well give a quick 6 month update,. I've had some sheds but all in all my hair is doing ok. Its thin but really its not too bad. I can spike it, and be pretty confident unless theres bright overhead lights. I've slacked major on minoxidil apps and I think it has hurt me, but not too bad. I'm thinking that the finasteride might be kickin in but still its early for that.
All in all though, I'm rather hopefull for the future. I think I will be able to hold on to enough of my hair untill new treatments come out.
Speaking of new treatments, MartinB posted recently on OSH101. I have not been keeping up on things, but thought I'd check in today and came across this post, originally made on hairsite:
So anyways, greets to those who know me, and welcome those new to the battle. We're all in this together.

MartinB said:Hi all,
The short version: I can not say anything that fairly would judge the effect of OSH-101 in real use. My guess is, that it works.
The longer version: Mmmm, thinking about it: prior to the trial I maybe also had the thought "This is going to be exiting, if it works I'm getting new hair." That is not reality. They take a 1x1 inch (2,5x2,5 cm) area and it is difficult to evaluate that yourself with two mirrors or with your fingertips. If you doubt my word, please read the full TrichoScan study that I made available, it has pictures of the clinical process that are essentially what was done on me.
May I make clear that (a) I did not sign an NDA and there has been no such things as "do not tell anybody this or that", and (b) I am not teasing you here and withholding anything. But I would hate to say anything that reflects a hope rather than a more objective observation.
This however I can say for sure: I reported that the hair on one of the two drug areas were longer than the other area. This is now even more pronounced. I must assume, that this was the area were the 5% OSH-101 was applied. Density? I can not say, because I can not observe it, but other people say that the area with longer hair has more dense hair growth.
Where does that leave us? Non-concluding. Was I a good responder? Was I a bad responder? How did the other 'mice' respond? I wish I could give you a definite answer "this kicks" or "this sucks". We will have to await the results from the CE-PTG analysis. These will, if positive, maybe also give us a timeframe for the next trial phases.
In regards to getting this peptide tailor made: beside the health issue wouldn't you feel imbecile if you spend say 500 € or US$ and come January got the message from Osteoscreen that it did not work that well on humans?
