Hey Everyone, Hoping For Advice

Hey Everyone,

I've been suffering from Alopecia Areata for about 10 years now. I've always shaved myself bald and keep a hat on. A hat isn't always professional and it stops me from going to a lot of places. Even with a fully shaved head (using a razor), the spots are very detectable and look like an atlas of the world.

I'm looking into custom hair pieces. I've tried wigs and they were terrible (hair doesn't look real etc.). Recently I've had a thought about hair tapes or at least stick on sideburns to have sideburns showing when I'm wearing a hat. I did some searches on Google and never really came to a solution. I was wondering if you guys have any advice for hair stick ons? Where can I get them? Is there anyway I can get them locally say for example a local wig shop? There aren't too many of those around in my area.

Thank you

Yea i've thought about this, but I have alopecia, so there is a chance of regrowth someday..well some spots do regrow, just that others fall out while they are regrowing.

Oh I thought you could still regrow hair if you do the smp but may be I'm wrong.

Hair pieces don't really get the attention they deserve because of the negative perception that people have against them. The thing is unless you are an early norwood just trying to fill in your temples, you are never going to be able to regenerate the density you once had. Transplants have their limitations. I have heard good things about the newer hair pieces as long as you spend a decent amount of money. You don't have to break the bank to get a good one, but they are not cheap either. I have not seen the stick on side burns you mention. Had no idea AA effects sideburns also. That sucks.

Did you try full lace wigs? They made of human hair and more comfortable than the synthetic wigs.
You can try online shop, there is a lot choices if there is no local wig shop around you.
