Heroin Users

I met some male Heroin users before, most were in their mid 30 to early 60, most had a Heorin life for five to 20 plus years. Based on my observation, all of them have something in common:

1. Bareboned

2. They all have a 'Heroin voice'

3. Looks older than real age, especially the younger ones

4. Feminized face....strange but somehow they all look like old ladies

5. They all got full head of dense hair, no matter whether white/grey or not. I have never met any Heroin user who got a slightest hairloss problem.

I have no medication background at all, my guess is Heroin must have f*** up their hormonal system hence they wont suffer from male pattern baldness.

Of course I am not suggesting anyone go Heroin for male pattern baldness and I doubt there will be anyone stupid enough to do that, just want to share some interesting observation.

My guess is a lot of primary body functions slow down or stop working when you are that fucked up on that toxic a drug. I would guess not only is their reproductive system mostly shut down but their liver and kidney function, their cardio system severly impaired and their immune system comprimised.

Reminds me of something I learned while researching GI disease a few years ago. Turns out, smokers never get one form of GI disease that results from an over-active immune response. And people who have had their appendix removed dont get another type.

Its funny how damaging one of your bodies systems can actually prevent it from becomming misguided and causing other problems.

by the way, my oldest brother is a heroin user,

now im 18 and suffer from hair loss, my second oldest brother is 37 and he has a decent vertex, but serious tempolar recession and a very thin crown. my dad is bald. 2 (out of three uncles on both sides) are bald. The third has surprsingly good head of hair as do his kids. hell, i know my mum is 60, but even she shows some hair loss (this would not be apparent to me if i wasn obsessed by hair loss). we also have quite bad acne in the family (even my sister_

anway, my oldest brother, then, he's 39 - and doesnt show one bit of hair loss. he uses heroin.

how does it affect hair loss - im intrigued. think about it, if heroin wasnt addictive, and didnt cuase some of the more seroius side effects, a significant number of us would use it. it would be just as bad as dutasteride or something.

no, he doesnt. lookin at him you would never think he does it (except when you see him nodding of after a fix and his lack of concentration thereafter)

he's clean shaven, got his own house, a middle-class job (£20K), a wife and kid. he's very intellegent and v good lookin. he looks about 31.

he's done heroin since he was a bout 18-19 or something, i can remember as a small kid my dad beating him up over it.
