Hello all, I am a hair loss sufferer and currently I am on finasteride. The thing is my doctor prescribed me zinc mineral pills to supplement ED along finasteride. Those pills contain 20mg of zinc. When I started my treatment the major purpose was to stablize the hair thinning for future as I was only NW1 at that point but after about 2 months I began to thin on my hairline much faster than I was receding before. In a time frame of about 6 months I lost about half inch of my hairline. I then decided to halt using the zinc pills and went on next three months without them. Those months went well for my hairline as it mostly remained the same as it was three months ago. But my hair on finasteride alone became very dead and dull having no life, dry all the time and very hard. I then decided to give zinc another shot but this time on every odd day. Hair became better looking and somewhat came back to life but thinning has again started slowly making my hairline thin which had stablized a bit. Now at the moment I'm very confused as to what I should do next as I'm afraid my hair will again thin faster on zinc and if I quit using it my hair will go back to being dead looking.

I'm on finasteride aswell maybe that could be thinning my hair?

Thanks man, the thing that I don't understand is that I got my crown fully thick in 2-3 months on finasteride and zinc that means I responded very well at crown but now since last 3-4 months I'm downhilling again which makes me really worried and depressed.
