Help with Fincar just got it in the mail.

I ogt my Fincar they came in 10 tablet holder packs. 5mg
Bu Ih have no instractions on how to take these...

I thibnk I need a pill cuter splitt them into 4 since its 5mg Finasterde to make it 1.25 a piece.

But do I take a 1.25 mg tablet each day? at night? after a meal? can I get some input please.

Fincar is recommended for use in adult males. The recommended dose is 5 mg once a day "

Take it in the morning with or without food (no matter) 1.25mg /day. Don't bother reading the insert since Fincar is not made for hair loss but benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Use a razor blade to quarter it, my suggestion is only doing one tablet at a time. Once the tablet is quartered the seal is broken and it may lose its efficiacy over time.
