So.. I'm 24 years old (male) and my hair has become pretty thin lately (top and crown areas). I'd like to make it a bit thicker again without relying on finasteride. I've been using Regenepure DR/NT (DR 3 times a week and NT 4 times a week) and I'm thinking about buying Rogaine Foam. Would this help a bit in thickening my hair? Also, are Regenepure DR and Nizoral the same thing, or is one better than the other?

Lastly, I was thinking about buying a conditioner for my hair and I've read that any conditioner with tea tree oil would be OK. Should I really get any conditioner with tea tree oil or is it possible that some of those conditioners may have ingredients which are bad for the hair? Or could anyone just point me to a good conditioner and should I even get a conditioner ?

Any other advice is welcome as well.

Thanks in advance.

If you really do have Male Pattern Baldness, Finasteride is going to be the best treatment option for treating the genetic condition. Shampoos will not do anything to help, the only ones that will do something to help are those that contain an ingredient called Ketoconazole, which is helpful, though far too weak to do anything majorly beneficial. Yes, Nizoral and Regenepure DR both contain Ketoconazole, but again, far too weak. And again, Finasteride is going to be the best treatment option for treating male pattern baldness, so I strongly recommend that you start taking the medication ASAP so your hair loss doesn't keep getting worse. You can always make an appointment to see a hair transplant surgeon and have them write you a prescription for Finasteride, they're the ones who specialize in hair loss and should have no trouble getting a prescription of the medication from them.
