What up everyone? Hey listen im in college been on propecia/15% minoxidil now for like 2 years...I think its been pretty damn good results so far....def. made my hair much thicker and more manageable in the past 2 years...hairline went back a little maybe...but either way.....propecia has been the shyt ..ha.......well 80 a month is tough esp. in college..playin soccer...i can only really work like twice a week you know......so i just wanted people's experience with switching to proscar and cutting it after having been on propecia for a while......Im sure theres other topics but nothing too good i could find about peoples experiences.......The thing is I was searching other sites and have found a bunch of posts by people who said that they starting losing hair after the switch which is scaring the crap out of me........so let me know the results if you have switched from propecia to proscar..and let me know whether its worth the money to switch...thanks a lot guys

I was actually gonna ask the same question. I've been on propecia for about 7 years now and at $80+ a month it's becoming a little steep for me. I'm afraid to switch to generic though as it seems a little too good to be true. Any input would be appreciated.

Also would be interested in where you buy yours from. A site like this for instance...

http://holddownhair.com/index.php

...offers 270 pills for under $90. I'm leery though, I'd rather use a site that other people can vouch for.

Go to Costco bro. I got an 60 5mg pills for $40!

Cut them into for and you get a whopping 8 month supply!

Of course you need a membership card.

finasteride is finasteride. Don't worry.

What do you mean it seems to good to be true? I'm not sure I understand that statement. Generic drugs are more often prescribed than name brand.

See if your doctor will prescribe the 5mg generic pills rather than Propecia. No one said you have to buy the stuff online.
