This might seem like common sense and you probably already know this but the best thing ive done in the past 6 months to battle my stubborn itch is rotating between anti-dandruff shampoos. Just this past week I've been rotating nizoral, tgel, zinc-based shampoo (H&S's) on a daily basis. My scalp feels wonderful. Another thing I've done is to blow dry my hair til it's almost dry. My derm said dandruff can be caused by not blow drying (esp if you have long hair), because dandruff can be caused from fungus which is keen on a damp, warm area like a wet scalp. You shouldnt full blast the heat on ur blow dryer, but put it on the lowest heat and just slowly blow dry it.

These two things have helped me dramaticaly with my itch... hope it works on you too! :D

testimony that that helps!

I've been using folligin* therapy conditioning shampoo.. and just yesterday i got emu oil ( yes i know it probabaly wont make hair grow but it soothes scalp)

but blow drying it absolutley helps. I havent been doing it because i've noticed that if you take a shower and sleep on your back with no pillows touching it... my hair seemed thicker..

but.. it does help scalp itch to completely dry the scalp after shower. good advise.
