Hi all. My hair has been very slowly receding for a few years now and I think the time has come to do something about it.
I have done internet searches, but you can never tell how much is true and how much is not.
I believe regaine/rogaine is one of the most successful treatments, is this correct? Anything else than can be recommended, preferably cheaper?
Also looking at maybe using a shampoo that will help, any recommendations?
Please don't think I'm taking the easy way out by posting on here. I've just spent a couple of hours doing research but am just getting more confused.
Any advice would be very gratefully accepted.
Thank you
Andy

Thanks, scary stuff. Will definatley stay well clear of that.
Any idea which products have the best success rates/best results? I am leaning towards regaine but am hoping there is something better and cheaper out there. Also looking at a shampoo to compliment the product.

you can always get generic minodoxil 5% at Costco or anywhere really

Since your hair loss doesn't sound too crazy intense right now, Revivogen might a safe option as a topical DHT inhibitor.

Just to be a different opinion without propecia odds are you will keep losing hair as long as your okay with that. Nothing else is proven to work and rogain does not fundamentally change the process causing hair loss it only help regrow small amounts of hair. You can try topicals as many people do just keep in mind none of them are regulated so what your actually getting or whether it works is more or less guesswork.
