Hello Forum,

Really suddenly terrified about my hairline and the prospect of it getting worse at only 22 years of age.

Please can you guys as experts take a look at the attached photos and let me know how badly I've got it and what I should do from here?

Pics are of hair wetted and pulled back and down. Looks fine unless I pull it back then it's noticeable. When I cut my hair short you can tell tell as much but it's probably the longest it's ever been atm and now I'm really fcking worried. Been on minoxidil for about a week but it just seems to be making hairs around the temples fall out rather than grow back.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

hairline looks good to me. The pictures don't reveal a whole lot other than right now you have a solid hairline shape but as to the extent of hairloss you have had or could be expected to have we cannot comment. Also the hair growth cycle involves a resting period for the follicle, basically it remains dormant for a period of time so you can't expect a shed hair to instantly start growing out of the follicle again (unless it has been shed by an emerging new hair shaft). This is why its possible to scratch your head and get hundreds of hairs come out because you are prematurely pulling out hairs that are no longer growing that are just waiting to be pushed out by the newer follicle.

Looks normal to me at your age. If you experience hair fall, from shower, pillow, laptop now and then then it's prolly a wake up call. Like what happened to me
