Sorry if this has been asked before (in fact, I'm pretty sure it has been mentioned a boatload of times..but I get 0 results searching for 1.25, and 10 000 searching for finasteride.
So anyway, I read some here before these forums turned member-only, and I think I saw someone taking 1.25 mg finasteride per day, for four days, and then keep up one? Would this bear potential nasty side-effects, do you think? Or would it be rather the same as taking 1mg per day?
I do not take 1mg because I got proscar, like many europeans I think, from that Italian pharmacy, where proscar is darn cheap (and the original, as far as I can tell), and with this pill-splitter I have it is easy to split them in four, and next to impossible to split them into fives.
I'm pretty confident I'll be bald one day anyway, and then I'll look like Nosferatu, but I figured it'd be worth a try to halt the process, if it is simple (rogaine isn't) and doesn't bear horrible side-effects (I had the grand luck of eating what's called roaccutan herearound for ..almost two years, I think, and that was a little hell in itself). So far (1 month down) ,I haven't noticed much whatsoever, but then I haven't really been paying minute attention.
