my scalp is STILL tender/itchy.

I use t-gel and that sooths it for about an hour.. then irritation is back. I also use nioxin and nioxin scalp therapy every other day.

nothing seems to help!!! My last resort that i'm contenplating on is a water softener.

any thoughts to improve my scalp?

both those shampoo have done nothing for me too. but i also use head and shoulders as well. jeff, do you rub in the shampoo with your finger tips for gently rub them with your palms. i think for those shampoos to work you need to work it into your scalp but i am fuking scared to do that becuase more hairs will fall out so i gently rub it on my head and i think not enough of the shampoo makes it way to the scalp.

Worked for me! I just let it soak into my scalp for about 10 minutes the first time I used it. I am sure other moisture conditioners work as well, but this is the one I used.

And the title of this thread could not be more accurate. I believe it is the key to long term success.

tricomin didn't really help my irritation and scalp condition. folligen did in a big way. Mucho better at solving irritation, tenderness, etc.. mucho!
