I've been away for 4 years. Was wondering if any significant developments have surfaced since then. I know it's semi-selfish to ask for personal "summary" of the status quo, but then I realized a lot of people go away for long periods of time, like me, and it's probably ok to have a summary thread pop-up once a year or so.

Back then, the only universally accepted treatments were minoxidil and finasteride (+ dutasteride for those who were really brave)

Nothing changed in best treatments for male pattern baldness. I think dutasteride lost popularity. I dont see it being discussed so much as three years ago.

On the other hand concelears are being discussed more often.

We have other "natural" options like green tea and grape seeds.
