You hear all the time how finasteride "destroyed" people's hairlines but you never hear the opposite.

Yeah, it happened to me and others on this forum. I had a thick crown, sides, and mid scalp before finasteride. I had been slowly thinning in the frontal third or so for a couple of years before finasteride. In just nine months on finasteride my hair was obliterated everywhere. My crown and midscalp in particular were decimated.

yup... had a decent head of hair with ok density. one year on finasteride and i lost like half of it, all over the top. especially the crown and midscalp.
