Has anyone here used Nootropil (piracetam)?

I have used it for a few months in the past and experienced exacerbation of my eczema and hair thinning during same time. I do not know if nootropil had anything to do with it but I'm concerned if nootropil is safe enough in regard to those conditions as I am considering going on it again.
Please share if you have any experience with nootropil.
