Read alot of conflict on the subject, alot of arguments, but the only evidence I have been able to find is just a few posts, one guy who was on finasteride for 4 years and then added arimidex and notice very significant positive results, and a few others.
From the perspective that I see DHT cant be the only or main driving factor in male pattern baldness, theres to many loose factors tying in. Like not everyone taking steroids goes bald, ya ya receptor schmeptors, from what i have learned about receptors they adjust, so it would seem that the " sensitive receptor" propaganda is just bull. There have to be more receptors involved than just androgenic ones. Plus DHT stimulates other hair follicles?? AND finasteride and Dutast cause immediate shedding in alot of cases... hmmmm I wonder if thats from immediate increases in conversion over in to estrogen! There has to be more at play here.
They now have meds for sell and are making millions just on the HOPE that finasteride and dutast will work, they arent going to be doing anymore research beyond this.
Also, for BPH, finasteride was originally produced, but it has been shown that DHT supplementation actually reduced BPH just as well as limiting DHT.... they obviously dont know what they are doing and just want to make money. Lets figure this out.
