Has anone been on Spironolactone and then stopped?

I am going through this massive shed and trying to pinpoint why. I take spironolactone, lowered the dose about a year ago by half 150/75mg daily. My hair became dirtier feeling but now this shedding.

I hair multiple issues going on low Ferritin since 1999 and just learned I also low in Vitamin D.

Interested in hearing others experiences with lowering or stopping spironolactone and their effects on shedding.
