He's not NW2, actually more like a NW2.5, he has pretty much the same hair loss as mine, the major difference is: He is Harry Styles, amazing face, his head shape works well, the curves and angles of his forehead are perfect. With the right head shape, you can rock NW2.5 or even NW3 hairlines. With the wrong head shape, even NW2 can be unforgiving.

So true about curves and angles of the forehead.
It's why some men "bald gracefully" and some men look awkward and, as you said, unforgiving.
So often this factor is overlooked. Even by those with advanced norwoods.

"Badass"!! Haha.. Yeah, maybe if your, like, 12 years old.
If Harry went to prison looking like this... well, let's just say.. he'd be very "popular."

how are his forehead angels good? If that line recedes any further he will be 90% FACE! Hes got about the same setup as me and a little makes a HUGE difference. I went from being a 5 head to infinity and beyond with a small creep up.

Oh he has DEFINITE hair loss. if the hairline recession, he's definitely balding... See his temple points? Neither do I, they're almost totally gone. The angle of his temple recession is also bad. A nice NW2 has the temple recession angle going downwards compared to the frontal hairline, his is angling upwards. He's an NW2.5 with a miniturizing hairline, but he has a great forehead shape, his eyebrows are the widest point on his head and it curves nicely upwards from there. I have a very similar hair loss to his, about the same temples, but bigger forehead and one that doesn't curve in/taper as nicely as his (or 99% of humanity).

Head shape is half the battle when it comes to hair loss. Harry got dealt a bad genetic hand with his hair, but he is otherwise fortunate.

Doesn't even look bad to me , probably doesnt even have hairloss. Most white adults have curved hairlines like that.

His hair are going to stay that way for the next 40 years. A friend of mine had a bigger M shaped forehead than me when I was a NW2. He still has the same hairline with insane density all over the scalp while I have virtually become a NW4+.

He doesn't have insane density. He has decent, medium density hair. He is not going to stay that way for 40 years. Pay close attention to the sides, they are also thinning, his temple points are completely gone you can just see wispy vestiges. One side of his hairline is a bit worse than the other, but his hair loss has progressed quite a bit at such a young age. He has the hairline of a 40 year old man. His temple angles in particular have become quite bad. He's fast heading towards NW3.

And bear in mind, he's only 22.

Hmm.... OK, once again for the slow people... Hair loss is not a predictable affliction.
Harry clearly has hair loss. Now,.... how fast he advances is already stamped in his DNA.

He may be VERY lucky, like your friend, or he may be NW4 in three years.
Time will tell.

My guess is he's already on finasteride/dutasteride also, his hair is CRUCIAL to his image, if he gets any worse, his career is over. I'm sure his managers have told him as much and got him the drugs he needs. The question now is will it stop his hair loss? Will he go for experimental treatments not available to us mortals? Maybe he'll take a trip to the Bahamas in the near future!

I hope it progresses to NW6 within a year. Hair loss deserves more attention.

to wish something like that on someone is ****ing ridiculous
yes hairloss needs more attention but not in that manner.
one person going bald ain't going to change **** even if its someone famous like harry styles
maybe if someone like bill gates went bald he'd invest some money in researching baldness and finding a cure lol

the hair he has is thick as f*ck though. Also, I second that he must be on finasteride; will not bald anytime soon.

Can kiss goodbye to his career if he goes above NW3. My hairline was nowhere near that bad at 22. He'd be stupid not to be on meds though.

I wonder what the reaction of all the female fans would be if he does advance rapidly?
I think we all know the answer.

Bill gates once mocked Silvio Berlusconi for treating his hair loss and said it's a waste of money.
Bill gates' father is bald but he is a full head. Many successful people mysteriously skip balding gene while thier fathers are bald. Paul McCartney is another example.
