in my college days i tried to get some comics into the school paper and they were rejected... it was pretty depressing given how crappy the comics they had were. It's amazing the crap that papers will publish...

- John having a bad hair transplant overseas
- John waiting five years for the cure
- John hitting the gym and tanning
- John too much derma rolling

Drawing all day would get boring, but I do think you can do a webcomic on the side
The trick would be to monetize, and that usually means merchandizing.
