Hairloss Visibly Worse On One Side, Interested In Finding The Cause

I noticed on the left side of my head the hair there is longer than the rest which really throws off my hair since everything is uneven and messy
So I checked the other side and there's actually a considerable chunk missing
It looks pretty bad this side but based on the picture you could probably say the hair is just falling in different places although this seems to consistently happen which is supportive of the idea that there is less density on this side

Things got really interesting when I took a flash photo of the nape of my neck, the hairloss is visibly thicker on the left side of my head
The back of my head is regrowing from shaven evenly so they should have similar levels of density/regrowth but they don't
Interestingly the side with less hair is also the side my temple is more receded on, I've also been under the assumption for a long time now that there is less density on the right side of my head.
One notable thing is that the side with less density (right side) is typically the side I sleep on with my head burried into my pillow. Also on the left side which has better density I've noticed the vein near my temple is larger on that side.
Interesting to see someone else's take on this

Edit. this stupid website keeps flipping the second image upside down so here is a link to view it in the correct orientation.
