I hope you guys can answer a few questions that I have been unable to get elsewhere.
First of all I'm a diffuse thinner, lost a lot of my hair over the past 4 years without realising as I always had my hair cut short anyway. The crown area and the frontal area are worse than the sides and backs. Now I have that out of the way to the questions.
1. I recently purchased Proscar, it has not arrived yet, but my question would be do people cut these into fours or fifths? Cutting them into fifths would be just to save money right?
2. With Proscar what would be the perfect pill cutter to buy? I doubt I would cut them accurately if I was to use a knife or something sharp. I have seen videos on the internet, but I will need a pill cutter just to cut the tablets accurately, or atleast try to. I will probably get one of these from Boots.
3. If I begin to feel side effects what is the best course of action? To continue with the treatment? lower the dosages? Scrap it all together or what?
4. I have been using nizoral shampoo without any success. I then tried Revita Shampoo with no success. I still seem to be having problems with my scalp. The doctor, an hopeless one blew it off and said it looks okay. If my scalp is always dry or has dandruff what would be the best solution? I always used to use Head & Shoulders but I used to get red rashes and scabs. With Nizoral I don't seem to be having any problems but the dandruff or dry scalp remains. With Revita Shampoo it makes me itch and makes no difference to my head. Is there something that can actually get results properly? I have never used a conditioner as my hair is so short anyway, well it's short now because I have hairloss.
5. I will be using Proscar, Regaine Foam and Nizoral Shampoo (for now anyway unless there is a really good suggestion) should that be okay?
6. Do I add Regaine Foam to the entirety of my head if I'm a diffuse thinner? Or just on the crown and the frontal area where it is worse?
