I was thinking about an old friend of mine. We weren't super close, but he was a nice kid. Back in 9th grade he got leukemia. Luckily, he was able to beat it. When his hair grew back it grew very thin. Like a diffused thinner. I would say 50% gone and gone in a uniform manner. All over. Fast forward to my 20 year high school reunion. (23 years since he lost his hair) His hair is exactly the same. No additional hair loss that I can see. Looks the same as it was at 14. Is there a reason for this? I was just thinking about it the other day and it got me curious.
