these are pics of my hairline that i just took, i wear my hair with a part in it and u cant tell by lookin at me i have a prob but when i brush my hair back its so obvious as you can see
what should i do, this is driving me crazy everytime i look at my hair like this i just wanna cry, i have a few times actually becuse it looks so bad im only 23 , 24 in may in a few mts im gonna be like compltely bald almost in the front, i dont know wht to do, i know i was advised to take propecia which really isnt big advice cuz everyone gets told to do that but i really dont see how that by itself will help me, i just dont see how it will, maybe keep what i got in those pics, but it wont bring back the hair that ive lost there, and as u can see its quite alot, rogaine on the box says its not for use on the hairline so i find that a waste of time to use..what should i do, iim on the path to get very bad soon, my whole hair feels thin ive been losing so much lately, am i pretty much a lost cause or is there anything that might help me?\
this is why i was thinking of getting a touch up with a hair restoration in these areas on another post i made in the surgery section
here is a link to the pics

u have nice thick hair except that front is thinnin pretty bad...... u could change your hair style, start combing it fwd do some funky style...... i think many people use minoxidil for the front hair line too, so i dont know what it says on the box but from what i heard it works..... and u should ask the HairLossTalk.com guy what he does, he has some method of making the front look less thin then it is.

Chris, I don't want to beat a dead horse.. but I would start propecia, minoxidil, and an antiflamitory, antifungal shampoo (nizoral, t/gel).

Its discussed on here quite often and yes you can save that frontal hairline with these items. Nothing is gauranteed but you stand a decent chance of regrowing/thickening that frontal hair. Just start very soon.

Both products work in the front. They just did the FDA testing on the Vertex. So give them a shot. The sooner you put it off, the harder it will be to see progress. If you do hair restoration, you will still need to use minoxidil and or Propecia to keep all of the other hair.

I just went and got the Nizoral, Ive never used it so I need som advice I'm confused on the every 3-4 day thing, because I was my hair every other day and im gonna wash it tonight, so should i use the nizoral tonight and tues. use my reg shmpoo then thur use the nizoral again?
Also do i keep it on my hair for any length of tie after i later it?
It says to use like for 8 weeks, should i just use it forever or something?
How exactly will this help me? this isnt a re-growth agent im sure so will it just reduce dht levels around the hairline or something?

Just use Nizoral every 3 to 4 days. Yes you can use other things on the off days. Leave it in for 5 minutes. Nizoral is all well and good but you need Propecia or your screwed. Plain and simple.

At the very least you need to give the minoxidil a shot for 4-6 months. I, and many others have had good results in front from it. If flaking or slow drying/greasiness from rogaine or generics are a prob, get some of Dr.Lee's from http://www.minoxidil.com. I love his minoxidil, wouldn't be able to use minoxidil if not for it.

You'll improve your odds by getting on finasteride as well. Nizoral alone won't do much. You should start ASAP.

yea by the time you'll start seeing result from finasteride you'll be 24 and pretty happy you started. Don't worry about the age thing, i just turned 19 and have been thinning for a couple years.

btw, try cutting your hair shorter. It is a tong easier to apply minoxidil and to find a way to style it to make it look thicker.
