I didn't see it elsewhere on here, but there is an ongoing Q & A with Hairclone here

http://forum.hairsite.com/t/q-a-with-dr-paul-kemp-co-founder-and-ceo-of-hairclone/27388

I hope these guys succeed, but it concerns me that they seem to be figuring out all the details of offering the treatment, banking cells and raising money to offer it asap (possibly later this year) but don't seem to even know if their method will work or what that method even is...

It seems like companies are desperate to be first out on the market willing to do anything since it's getting hot right now. They believe tsuji is holding their timeline and if they should stand a chance they need to speed things up.

I really hope this is true because at the moment it feels as though everything is going at snail's pace. Oh well Rome wasn't built in a day

Probably because they just wanna get some cash from the desperate baldies ASAP?

Okay so these guys are actually creating hair follicles not culturing the cells for injection in hopes of rekindling the fire in already miniaturized hair right?

In the greater scheme of things, his scam money is nothing.

No, his scam money is fantastic; possibly even historic, actually. I am not aware of any individual who has made that amount of money with a hairloss scam in so little time.

Yeah supposed to be hair multiplication

It's much ado about nothing – and giving them $2500 for a Cell Bank is questionable given they have nothing actionable at this point in time.

Don't worry, they said that is for 20 years storage. I'm sure they will have something by then.

So you would pay $2500 for something that might never come to fruition? There are already companies out there with clinical trial that in a few years might grow all the hair you need. No need to bank anything at this point.

I think he was being sarcastic.

Na, the Pilox device is probably the best one, something that costs less that $20 to make selling for what is it $700?

Well I wasn't being sarcastic, but it was a tongue-in-cheek comment to show how ridiculous the whole thing is.

So you never heard of laser helmets?

Who is selling laser helmets from their apartment online and making 30k in 8 months doing so?

This italian guy just accepted money without delivering anything except for what appears to have been minoxidil to a few people. It's a scam anyone can do and requires no actual product and he got away with it 3 times.

I challenge anyone to top that

He made around less than €20k and that's not a lot of money to make in 8 months and with the chance of the police knocking on your door it's not sustainable or in my opinion worth it.

The Pilox device the other hand, it probably costs like €25 to make and they're selling it at €800. Lets say they keep €500 of that after expenses and what not, sell 1000 of them and that's €500,000. Hell all the other crap like PRP is people scamming mega bucks out of people. The HairMax has probably sold thousands with a product that costs virtually nothing to make.

Spato's scam won't be perennial. Laser helmets are.

That's right. I doubt Spato will ever earn a fraction of that money. The device-based scams must yield a LOT more cash!
