Hello guys, I just recently found a slide show that the company has put up. For those who are not familiar with the company, they are trying to use a helmet like device to deliver growth factors to ur scalp (some of them being the same as Histogens) with a goal of full hair regeneration. I reached out to the Admin, who was nice enough to do a write up including some of the newest info.

https://www.hairlosstalk.com/news/new-research/hair-cell/

The newest info that seemed of importance to me was that the company is planning on doing a pilot study of 20 patients by February 2017, and a 100 in total by July 2017 with a goal of selling the tech or partnering once this phase 1 is done to continue phase 2 and 3 meaning this is very much possible to be out by 2020. The fact they want to go through the trial process tells me they are not like your average laser helmet company. I truly believe Tsuji will save us eventually but I think a at home device is a very appealing idea. Share your thoughts!

Wonder why they couldn't just do an initial study of 50 or 60 people and knock off 6 months of trial time. What's the point of doing a 20 and then 100 person trial separately?

Thanks as always.

Anytime brother

Well they are doing 20 patients in America first then presenting data. Then another 20 in Australia and another 20 in Canada. With the rest not specified at a particular location, but just says "multicenter" on slide 10. My guess is that the FDA only allows phase 1 to have a smaller amount of participants in the trials, and they are still setting up with the other fda equivalent bodies in the other countries leading in a delay. They may have already gotten a head start in the USA so they are able to do it by February. But anyway they are not doing an addition 100 patients. Just 20 and then another 40 spread out in other countries, with the remaining not specified.

Kind of a ridiculous video, but maybe it's low-budgetness is a good sign? Actually, the number of bald/balding men involved at the end is probably the best sign, but electrodes on the head make me think of crazy 1950's experiments :p

Its funny because if you look at replicel's video its pretty low budget as well lol. I agree it looks stupid but im almost positive that it is just a prototype and their final product will look better. I think it would be more fruitful if we tried to poke holes in the science behind it if we can lol.
