dude..ive seen this thread and ive answered it. So have a lot of other people. I htink it may have gotten moved to a different section..the surgical alternatives one, bt im not sure. Moderators...could you leave it here? Look for it there..there was some good stuff. In a nutshell..a transplant should probably be your last resort after trying everythign else for a variety of reasons. 1) it isnt reversible. 2) You may get a scar on your head and never be able to shave it if you wanted to. 3) If you get hair transplanted onto your temple...but keep on receeding or thinning elsewhere near there. Think of what that will look like. Ive seen it on a guy on a bus....and MAN..i still think about it. That guy would have been way better off bald. 4) Look up some horror stories on the net abou thair transplants. Its horrifying about the thousands of dollars these people spend to surgically fix their heads just to get BACK to the way they originally were. I'm not knocking transplants because if you do your research and spend the money it can make a great difference as many of us have seen. But also (as many of us have seen) there are some disasters. DEAD give away transplants. You MIGHT be wishing you had never done it and then theres nothign you can do. But seriously..if all you have is minor temple thinning I would strongly suggest you wait. A lot of people on this site will give you honest opinions because theyre not charging a large chunk of money like surgeons. Its up to you and remember...this is my honest opinion and not fact..others may differ. But at least do the research first.
