Hi all,
I have recently started looking into hair transplant and went for two consultations. The first company I went to in Mayfair seemed iffy so I changed my mind, then I saw DHI London in a British Airways High Life magazine, went to visit them and they seems so much more professional. Nice staff, office, own products, etc and I though if im going to do hair transplant i'd rather pay more to get it done well. They quoted £5,000 for 1,300 transplants or 3,000 hairs. I am probably NW3-4 now with a thin patch on the top / front of my scalp that has been very gradually thinning for 18 years.
THEN I started looking online, and initially I was completely put off by all the negative comments about hair transplant and some about DHI. Then I found this site which has so many different opinions. But I still cannot find anyone who went to DHI London and says it really works. Many people say don't trust any surgeons in London. I find it hard to believe that there are no good clinics in London in this day and age, and they can all operate if the results are no good. Zeiring and Farjo come up a lot but DHI say that their FUE tool is thinner and leaves less scaring, and DHI is a global company, which attracted me.
I have a good donor area they said, and I am still tempted as DHI said I can expect really good results but I am so wary after looking online and don't really know who to trust.
Has anyone had a hair transplant there or I am being naive?
thanks for any advice
