hair transplant Questions while on finasteride

ive been on finasteride 10-11 months, it has restored my crown, but hairline appears to be slowly thinning still. (im 26 years old and ive been on minoxidil 3 years or so too)

i am fine shelling out the money for hair transplant work to fix my hairline, but can i even do this? i mean if my hairline is still thinning, how long do i give finasteride until i would get work done, and presumably i would need to have work done more than once if im still losing up front? this is so frustrating, i hate the uncertainty/unknowns with losing hair

would trying dutasteride to completely stop hairline thinning be my only valid option?

If finasteride isn't stabilizing your hair loss, then you should try dutasteride yes. getting a hair transplant when your hair loss isn't yet stabilized is risky, and even when it is stabilized, it's still risky since hair loss can begin again at any time. If you get a hair transplant then consider a conservative approach, avoid dense packing. You may not have your dream hair, but it is possible to get coverage for most of your life.

it has certainly stabilized the crown and all up top as you can never tell there was any thinning. just one side of my hairline seems to still be thinning, honestly it could be close and it could just be new little hairs coming in that make it look like ones im losing, i really cant tell

what is the ideal time to be on finasteride before considering dutasteride? i have had no sides on finasteride (knock on wood), and i would be interested in considering dutasteride if it could increase the chance i dont lose any up front, and MAYBE regrow/thicken hairline.
