Im 25, 5 months into finasteride, 2 1/2 years on minoxidil. Crown has been restored already from finasteride, i just need work done on temples/hairline corners (minimal work). To the naked eye i have no loss, but if i pull back my left side you can see minitiarizing (not sure if hairs im losing or new ones coming in on finasteride- either way hair is better since starting finasteride)

Im waiting until around 9 months on finasteride to give it more time so that i dont prematurely get work done- is my situation ok to go ahead if it appears ive stabilized my loss on finasteride?

Only worry is if i ever had to get off finasteride my hair would be jacked up after getting work done- no sides so far and i dont plan on getting off unless anything extreme was to happen.

Ill obviously be consulting with a Doctor but just looking for feedback. If my temples/corners got some work, i would be back to my teenage hair days! Thanks guys.

If your hair loss is imperceptible, I wouldn't; especially, being only 25 and having been on finasteride for less than a year. If you're still in the same spot at thirty and that tiny bit of recession is still bothering you, then I'd do it. You just never know when **** may go awry with your hair. Gotta make sure she's stable before doing anything permanent. I'm getting one at 30, if I'm still stable, but my hairloss is close to a Norwood 2.5 with no crown loss, so I suffer cosmetically.
