Hi, I'm a 24 male.
I have very thick hair (in general). My hair line has not receeded at all (as far as I know anyways), but I've noticed the hair on the front and left side of my head is significantly thinner than the same area of hair on the front right part of my head. I'm not sure of the proper terminology, but the area is just above the temple, right around the hairline. That my hair is generally very thick is what makes this so noticable to me - however from anything but 6 inches away it is currently not noticable ata ll.
I've noticed this for about a year now, but now that I am on some prescription drugs (with a potential side affect being permanent thinning of the hair) I've become rather more paranoid about it. From what I can tell and/or remember, it is no worse today than it was a year ago, but given how slow these things I'm thinking I've just become accustomed to the new "look" over time and as such have failed to notice any change.
So my question for all the hair experts out there is if it is natural to have this kind of inconsistency? Or is this probably an early sign of male pattern baldness?
