Alright so I've always had relatively thin hair. (pics below)

But for the past year or so its always on my mind.
Ive also been noticing more hair on my hands in the shower. Probably around 20 or so.
I tried rogaine foam a couple months back but i wasnt dosing it enough for it to be effective.
Ive been using Head and shoulders hair endurance + Regenpure DR shampoo (Anti DHT) for about 2 months now. Since i started using it ive also been blowdrying my hair after i shower around twice a week because it makes my hair look thicker.

Ive been thinking about starting Rogaine alongside my Regenpure DR.
This time properly at a half cap twice a day.

What I want to know is how serious my hairloss is and what is causing it?

Some notes.
Im 20
Been lifting (gym) 4 times a week for the past year or so.
Healthy Diet
I dont think my hairline is receding.
Sometimes my head itches in the sun. (stopped after starting head and shoulders / regenapure)

Thanks for all the help guys.

Do you have any family history of baldness? You hair generally looks very good, but if you say you lose them when you shower it could be a signal.

On my moms side everyone has a full head of hair even gramps.
My dad is late 50s and still has has his hair its just thin however most of his brothers are pretty much bald.

It's possible then that you have inherited the gene. You have good hair for now but you should be monitoring the situation.

You have some suspicious see through spots on the last photo though. One of them is near the crown. This could be the ver beginning of thinning.

Your hair looks fine for now. Just stick with what you're doing with the head and shoulders, regenpure DR, and healthy diet. It might improve or stay the same with just those things alone at this point. Don't start using minoxidil yet, just keep an eye on your hair. If it gets any worse down the road, add in the minoxidil. It wouldn't hurt to start taking some vitamins on the side too. Could start with something like a multivitamin and biotin.

Im already taking a multi.
As for waiting, i already have 2 bottles and i heard it would be great if i got some improvement by the summer time. 3-5 months.

Isnt it better to start sooner?

Thanks for the replies everybody.

It's amazing how fast some people are noticing the onset of balding. I wasn't giving a single f*** about my hair before it became really bad

Go and get your hair checked by a dermatologist who specialises in hair. Nobody here can tell you if you are balding.

DO NOT start using minoxidil if you don't need it. That stuff is for life then and your hair can go through sheds with it.
