Hair Thining around the Crown Area

I have started experiencing this hair thining problem around my crown.and its getting worse. i'm not sure what to do although i started keeping my head buzzed and hairs short tried various hair oils but nothing seems to work. i have read about these products rogaine, procerin and hair building fibres and all anyone who can recommend me something which is best. i mean how to stop it right here and get rid of those thinned areas around my scalp and crown. i have this problem in my paternal side. i mean my dad and grandpa and all had this problem.. i'm 29 but certainly dont want it at this point of time. looking for the suggestions
