Hair Styling Adhesive To Cover Alopecia?

I developed a scarring alopecia just above my ears on both sides. As a result, I have very little hair in about a 1-inch strip above each ear. I used to have the barber use clippers on my sides, but now I have to have them use scissors to keep the hair above the affected area long enough to cover the affected area. This works pretty well, except that sometimes, like when I remove sunglasses or something, the hair will get flipped out and expose the affected area.

So, I'm wondering if there's some kind of styling product that could be used to make that hair stick to my scalp better in that area. Any suggestions?
