Hair routine and sport

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there's any sports addict hair loss sufferers on this forum and what is their hair routine?

I wash my hair every morning and I don't know if it's okay if I wash it a second time after sport?

I do martial usually at least 4 times a week, which puts a lot of stress on my body and hair at times (I do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu so my hair often gets rubbed on the mats, caught etc). If I train more than once, I have always washed it a second time, I would rather have clean hair than be dirty (it isn't just sweat that gets in mine, but stuff from the mats and possibly other peoples sweat!). But generally I just wash my hair in the evening after training. Do you have the option not to wash it in the morning and just evenings after sport? Or just rinse it with cool water in the morning?

Washing your hair often - or even too often - will not have any influence on your hair loss. At most it will leave your hair in a less than desirable condition, too dry etc. The process of miniaturization however has nothing to do with your showering habits. So wash away, my friend, as long as you're happy with it.
