Hair not on top lost?

While most of the hair I loose comes from the top and this is where i notice my thinning... I have recently noticed 10-15 short hairs falling out with them. I'm now noticing the area above my sideburns heading towards my ears is thinning too. Now the only place that has thick hair is the back of my head. :evil:

Finasteride shed?

Has anyone in the same boat as me?

Losing your hair above the ears/temples is normal- i'm thinning there too but it's stopped now, so don't sweat it, - almost every guy will have thinned/receded hair in this area, then it stops

i have got the same problem, i am loosing my hair above my ears and in the back too. I use minoxidil there. As I am norwood 5 there might be need to have hair transplant in the future but I am worried because of sheding in the possible donor area. Does somebody know how effective the usual cure(big 3) is on these places?Any other info on this problem?
